Even during an internet outage, core systems like security and automation continue to function seamlessly. Our hub is equipped with battery backup and LTE cellular connectivity, so in the event of a power loss or emergency, professional monitoring and emergency dispatch remain fully operational. Please note: voice assistants such as Google Home and Alexa require internet connectivity and may be unavailable during outages due to their cloud-dependent architecture.

If your home is equipped with a wired security system, we will happily connect to the existing wired system. However, if your home is secured with a competitor such as Ring, Simplisafe, Arlo, ADT, etc and you are using wireless sensors, we highly recommend to switch to Novon hardware. Novon hardware will ensure that you are using the most up to date secure, encrypted, hardware on the market – with fresh batteries and professional installation.

Novon works with most Z-Wave, Zigbee, Bluetooth, and Wifi devices. We have a suite of our preferred products, including a base security system with security-grade contact sensors and security-grade motion sensors as well as a base smart home system including lightbulbs, switches, and shades. We will happily take over any existing smart home device you have that is Z-Wave or Zigbee enabled.
